Kre_Ta Landscape Architecture is a creative SME, running an office for landscape architecture and urban planning in Berlin, Germany. Established in 2003 Kre_Ta is focusing on sustainable and green urban designs with a strong focus on R&D projects to develop and design eco-innovative solutions. The Kre_Ta staff has a wide range of experiences in ecological architecture, urban design, and R&D activities in the fields of urban and space planning and rain water harvesting concepts in cities.
Kre_Ta is especially well-known in the field of rainwater harvesting & water reuse concepts and groundwater recharge approaches. The activities of Kre_Ta are divided in two interconnected business areas: traditional design of private and public green spaces e.g. gardens, public parks and the development of integrated and innovative concepts and visions to address current topics such as urban climate, urban water cycles and living surroundings. As an active player in the Berlin scene of strongly involved citizens Kre_Ta is applying modern and direct forms of stakeholder participation in all of their projects.
Kre_Ta will, based on the given inputs from the Indian partners, design the planning and implementation concept of the NaWaTech demonstration parks. Main objectives of the approach are strong stakeholder participation, close-loop systems and an innovative integration and combination of technical and natural water treatment and reuse systems in urban structures. Aesthetic and economic aspects will be combined in a common design.
