Save the date: 1stNaWaTech International Workshop –29th of November 2013, Barcelona

The 1st NaWaTech International workshop will take place on the 29th of November 2013 in Barcelona, Spain. With three blocks “Research and advancements in natural and technical compact treatment technologies”, “Non-technical instruments to overcome existing barriers. Business opportunities” and “Case studies: implementation in developing countries” , this first workshop of a series of three is organized in order to disseminate, exploit, and ensure the uptake in practice and mainstreaming of NaWaTech activities and outputs by end-users, SMEs and decision-makers, This will contribute to ensure knowledge transfer between EU and Indian key stakeholders and establish the foundation for a long-term research collaboration. Participation is open for all water practitioners!

Nawatech project partners met in Nagpur to review the project progress and discuss and agree next steps.

Workshops on sustainability criteria, compendium of Nawatech technologies and selection of high potential systems were successfully held. The results can be found as deliverables in the public library.

New potential implementation sites were visited in Nagpur, and sites in Pune were also discussed. We are now preparing the research plan and system designs for Nawatech´s implementation sites.
