NaWaTech twinning of students started

The student exchange between Indian and European research organization in the frame of NaWaTech has started.

Vinay Kulkarni (far right) from Pune is currently working with the pilot constructed wetlands system at UPC in Barcelona, Spain (in the photo, with fellow Spanish students). More students from NEERI, UPC and BOKU Universities are benefiting from this exchange program, strengthening the academic partnership between both continents.

Consortium meeting in Barcelona - Nov 2013

NaWaTech EU and India project partners met together during the 26th-28th November in Barcelona, Spain. During the meeting, details on the first research results, and design and implementation of each of the five different test sites were discussed. The first session on Safety Planning was maintained, collecting ideas for the first three planning steps, the "Assembly of Safety Planning Team", "System Description" and "Hazard Identification", were discussed for each NaWaTech pilot site. The planning for the elaboration of the different contents for the NaWaKit, als well als SME and entrepreneur coaching was started.

On the 29th of November, consortium members participated in the 1st NaWaTech International Workshop, together with over 60 participants.
